Molybdenum crucible has good creep resistance at high temperature. In addition, molybdenum metal has the characteristics of high melting point, high temperature strength, low pollution, corrosion resistance, high thermal conductivity, small coefficient of thermal expansion and good hardenability. It is widely used in sapphire long crystal, rare earth smelting, coating and other industries as the container for smelting. Sintered molybdenum crucible is mainly used as high temperature furnace container, which can be used in vacuum, inert or reducing gas below 2100 ℃. Molybdenum has high melting point, high temperature strength, low pollution, good machinability, low density and light weight compared with tungsten

 

The crucible wall is thick, the thermal conductivity is poor and the energy consumption is high. The density is between 2.2 and 2.3, which is the density of the upper crucible. The high density makes the crucible have the thermal conductivity. Its heat conduction effect is obviously better than that of other brands of crucibles. Compared with the melting aluminum graphite crucible, there are four special glaze layers on the surface of the crucible, together with dense molding materials, which greatly improve the corrosion resistance of the product and prolong its service life; for the high life aluminum graphite crucible, there is only one layer of reinforced cement on the surface of the crucible. The surface is easy to be damaged, which leads to premature oxidation of the crucible.
